With over 30 years experience in communications, IT and nuclear energy sectors, as well as having run three entrepreneurial ventures, Carol has a proven track record of success in improving execution, leading process improvement, aligning cross-functional groups to achieve business outcomes, and driving and implementing change across matrixed organizations.

She brings an ability to create clarity from complex situations with an easy rapport with stakeholders and team members at all levels. Her mission is to create concrete and executable plans that lead to outstanding results and increased organizational effectiveness.

As Division Manager of a publicly-owned engineering consulting company, she created and built a PMO to oversee all the projects in the Canadian operation, including $100M+ engineer-procure-construct projects related to the refurbishment of Bruce Power and Ontario Power Generation nuclear stations. Results included increased profitability, accountability, and customer satisfaction, as evidenced by $50M increase in scope awarded on a single project. She set a standard for clear, relevant project communications from all the engineering offices in the Canada and the US to the EVP.

A project management professional, Carol founded and was President of the PMI South Western Ontario Chapter Bruce Branch, served on the board of the Organization of CANDU Industries, and was President of a condo board for 6 years.

She speaks to industry groups and has developed a video series with practical techniques that can be applied right away to improve management and communications effectiveness across major programs.
